Hi everyone and thanks so much for stopping by today! Welcome to the Sunday night INKspired Blog Hop!
This weeks Blog Hop is based on the sketch below.

I can't believe how fast Christmas is sneaking up on us, I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet, though I have been busy making cards, there are so many new sets to choose from the hardest part is deciding which one to use first.

I'm looking forward to showing you all the new products that are coming in the new Mini Catalogue in January-June 2021 plus it will be Sale-a-bration where you will be able to earn some great FREE products when you order over $90. SO EXCITING.
Till then we still have awesome products to use like the ones I have featured on my card today.

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper I was so happy when I saw it reappear in the 2020 Mini Catalogue, it is not the usual traditional Christmas colours and can be used for so many other occasions apart from Christmas.

For my card today

• I started with a card base of Very Vanilla then added a layer of Copper foil sheet and Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. 
• The panel on the left was embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder then layered on Night of Navy Cardstock.
• The top panel was cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies using Night of Navy and Very Vanilla with a Copper Foil Sheet layer in-between the two colours. 
• Next I cut out some of the baubles from the Brightly Gleaming DSP and mounted some of them on Dimensionals.
• The ribbon is from the Copper ribbon from the Basket Weave and Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack this pack also comes with a beautiful Basket Weave ribbon in Mint Macaron
• The last elements I used are a bit of a sneak peak at one of the sets coming in the new Mini 2021 called Many Messages and it comes with a matching Die called Messages Die, this is a large stamp with lots of great saying that you stamp all at once then die cut together so you will always be ready with a verse for your cards, or you could just ink up the saying that you need and position the die over it.

INKspired - 125-Plaid-inspired-Scrap

Hi Everyone and thanks so much for stopping by today! Welcome to the Sunday night INKspired Blog Hop!

Its Sharon here! and I'm taking part in a Blog Hop today which is featuring a card using Stampin' Up! products that have Plaid.

We have so many products to choose from like our beautiful Designer Series Papers, Buffalo Check Background Stamp or even our amazing Best Plaid Builder Dies to come up with our designs it will be good see everyone's creations. 

I decided to team up the Plaid Tidings paper from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue with the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle in the  2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.

To make this card:

• I started with a card base of Basic Black And then added a layer from the Plaid Tidings DSP  using a black and white colour. I added a Basic Black panel on top of this first I cut the two edges with the scalloped edge die from Be Mine Stitched Framelits then I used the Pine woods Plank 3D Embossing Folder.
• I stamped the large sunflower and the smaller sunflower and two of the large leaves using Black Memento ink. 
• I coloured the sunflowers with a combination  of Stampin’ Blends: So Saffron Combo, Daffodil Delight Combo, Pumpkin Pie Combo, Real Red Combo and the centres with Crumb Cake Combo, Soft Suede Combo the leave were done with Old Olive.
• I added some of the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper to add some shine and Gold Metallic Pearls for some bling.
• I still felt it needed something more so I added a layer of vellum cut with the die from this set as well. This was adhered using glue dots.
• The verse was done using Versamark and White Embossing Powder Heat Embossed on Black CS then fussy cut out using our awesome Paper Snips which are great for getting into all those small areas. I raised this up using the Black Mini Dimensionals.
