Sail Away to Coastal Cobana

Thought I would get started on my stock of cards for men and upcoming Fathers Day as I seem to always be only making these as I need them. So my challenge to myself is to have at least 20 cards made ready for customers to purchase. This is the first one was very easy and would be good for a class project as well. 

I stamped and die cut the boat, coloured it in using the Stampin Blends Markers. The small birds were then stamped on the Whisper White Circle and the boat was adhered using mini dimensionals, this was then attached to the Early Espresso circle.

I stamped the compass and anchor randomly down the strip of Whisper White in Coastal Cabana and Early Espresso inks. The thin strip of Early Espresso was added to the right side and the panel added to the card front with glue. The circle piece was then added using dimensionals, the Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine was looped behind and the ships wheel trinket added.

INKspired-colour-challenge-103

Hi and welcome to another round of the INKspired Blog Hop You have just come from the wonderful designer of our Blog Hop Teneale Williams. I love the colours she has chosen this time round, it was so hard to pick just one card to use as I made several using this colour combo. Choices, choices, choices.

I went with a wedding card this time. I made the base in Soft Sea Foam CS with Mint Macaron CS and inked all over with Piece of Cake stamp set, then I ran it through the Subtles embossing folder. I added a bit of Whisper White Flax Ribbon and then decorated it with a panel using the Stitched Dies, Well Written and Lovely Flowers Dies using Soft Sea Foam, Vellum  and Basic Black CS.

I stamped the panel using Piece of Cake and Well Said, I coloured the cake and stand with Sahara Sand, Seaside Spray and Soft Sea Foam and added a touch of Dazzling Diamonds to the heart. Tag was white embossed.
