INKspired-113-Colour Combo Challenge

Welcome to the Sunday night INKspired Blog-Hop!

Wow cant believe the last time I did a challenge was Christmas has been so much going on here.

I have had my beautiful Dad pass away.

Then I have been constantly sick and on this crazy merry go round that the whole world is on, while still going to work everyday with some isolation thrown in for good measure.

I would like to say that left me a lot of time to create but sadly no, still had to work or feel like death warmed up LOL.

I did manage though to order some of the lovely new products coming in the new catalogue and if you look closely you will see a snippit of them on my card on the black band in the middle and the Smoky Slate leaves.

Our Challenge This time was to use at least 3 of the colours below, I went with the Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate.

This is the card I created

I Stamped on the background with Very Versailles then did some splatters using the Stampin' Write markers using Smoky Slate and Petal Pink and a touch of Calypso Coral.

The sentiment is from Peaceful Moments

The poppy is made using the Poppy Moments Die using Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Basic Black for the centre, again some splattering and some sponging on the background piece, and a touch of glitter in the middle because even when we are sad we need a little bit of sparkle.

And that sneak peak at the leaves from one of the borders in the Ornate Borders Dies and one of the lacey strip borders in the same bundle.

Now it's on to the lovely Narelle Macey   to see her creation using the same Colour Combo...
